On the other side of Badlands National Park I found this scene of the sun not being able to break through the clouds. Below the sun was a layered scene of spikey sandstone mountains. This atmosphere really showed why it’s called the Badlands. The grit and darkness of the overall scene was incredible to get to capture. If you like simple but complex art, this composition is for you.
