2 miles into the Utah plateaus I made it to my destination. A giant obelisk shot out of the rocky ground and it made it’s statement. I only got to sit here for about 20min before a storm pushed in behind me and lightning was coming fast, the wind was howling and I was being hit by rocks. So, I sprinted 2mi out to get back to my car and out of the lightning bowl of a landscape. I will surely be back in the future as there are some beautiful things I can capture here just need safer conditions. But although I wanted to be there longer I came with a frame that is a very good color study. All the greys and light browns throughout the from from the ground to the sky was a fun detail that kept me there as long as I could be.
