Aurora Borealis made it’s way down through Canada to the United States this May. This incredible storm was ranked at a 9.0 KP and generated incredible Northern Lights over 2 days. Mount Moran sitting behind Jackson Lake with the rest of the range. I wanted to capture a wide angle shot to show the range of which the Aurora hung in the sky. This night the Aurora hung around until sunrise and so did I, it gave plenty of opportunities for my jaw to drop. I took this photo near the end of my night and I’m glad I made it to the North section of the park to get a unique shot of these magenta tones.
